I'm back

Well, as you can tell, it has been quite a while since I was on. A lot has been happening here. Tina and Willa came the last week in June and spent a week with us until they could get a hop to Japan to spend the summer with Chris. They all came back the end of July and spent another week with us until Tina and Willa had to go home (to Tucson). Willa started school August 5th. During this time we got the opportunity to babysit Willa so Chris and Tina could have a mini second honeymoon. It worked out well. They had a great time at the ocean and we had a great time with Willa. She is such a sweetheart. I have been worrying about what my grand kids would call me. I have been informed by my kids that Gran is out because there can only be one Gran, my mom. I don't particularly like "Grandma". Well, Willa solved this delima. She started off calling me "Grandmama". And she used such a grand tone. I love it. She also decided that Bryan should be called Grandmama-Grandpa. He nixed that idea and told her Grandpa was enough. Christopher spent another week with us, sort of. His Grandmother Jones died and he went down to Crescent City, CA with his dad and Uncle Dave for the funeral. We were sad to hear of her passing, but I know she was more than ready to get back together with her husband and family.

Bryan is still looking for work. A few nibbles, but no bites yet. He has an interview on Sept. 3rd, and we are sending out 5 applications this week. Our knees are getting sore from praying. I do know that the right job will come at just the right time. I guess this is a test of our patience and faith.

Stephanie is getting anxious and ready to return to school. I am driving her back on Sept. 7th. Our friend Jan is going with us. It should be a fun trip. Bryan is staying home because (we are thinking positive) he will have a job, Emily starts high school on Sept.9th, and of course, our dog Sugar needs companionship. She goes into doggy depression when I am gone.

I am still (thank goodness) working at my friend's Alpaca ranch. I think this has been my salvation. Debra's husband lost his job a month before Bryan, so we have been fellowshipping and uplifting each other. It has been good to have someone to go through this process with. I have to tell you, I am greatful for all your prayers and well wishes on our behalf. Thank you!!
