Terry & Family

Today is quiet. Emily is at Girl's Camp, Stephanie is at work, Chris and family are visiting with his dad, Bryan is hybernating in his office. It's just me and my fan. Oh, did I tell you it is at least 200 degrees outside and, of course, I'm whining (Stephanie says big time). Even Sugar is hiding under the table. Up side, the sky is blue and the trees are green. It is beautiful.

I was talking with Chris and Tina this morning, remembering when Bryan and I got married. Uncle Kirk and Aunt Thelda came for the wedding, but forgot their temple recommend. So they elected to stay at Mom's house and watch the boys (at this time 4 and 6) for us. When we got home afterwards, Chris met us at the door the proceeded to tell us the Aunt Thelda broke the TV. Apparently, Chris tried every knob and button on the TV. Poor Aunt Thelda looked poleaxed. We had a good laugh about it. I was also remembering Eric's wedding to Barbara. This was the summer after my wedding. Chris and Peter looked so cute in their white shirts and dark shorts. Of course, this did not last long. The boys found the creek at the bottom of property and soon Pete fell into the creek. Also, the Aunts, Mom, Andie and I found out what scotsmen wear under their kilts. Unfortunatley, this time it was tighty-whities. But the chest was magnificient. For us girls it was a highlight.
